The word of God is living and powerful
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." - Psalm 119:105 "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." - Hebrews 4:12 The Bible is called the Word of God because its words are God's words, written through His chosen servants under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. God's Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, guiding us in truth and righteousness. It is living, powerful, and able to transform the heart and mind of those who receive it. As we read and meditate on God's Word, our hearts are drawn to the things of God, and our minds are renewed according to His will. Through the Scriptures, we learn of God's holiness, man's sinfulness, and the way by which sinners may approach Him through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Though God's Word never changes, it changes those who submit to it, conforming them to the image of His Son. Let us diligently read, meditate on, obey, and live out the Word of God each day. Praise the Lord!
